Come gather ’round people

Wherever you roam

And admit that the waters

Around you have grown

And accept it that soon

You’ll be drenched to the bone

If your time to you is worth savin’

Then you better start swimmin’ or you’ll sink like a stone

For the times they are a-changin’

Buzz around the world is fear, while virus is rapidly spreading like fire. There was a time when the world was outside and outside was home. Now the world has ended, ended in a home. Sooner than later, as we all believe, the pandemic will end. Things that have stalled, will come to life again. We will roam, we will swim, we will fly, and cross oceans once again. But for now we are drenched, and as we face the time, we know – they are a changin’.

Not long before, there were boundaries; now, none intend to cross. Offices were meant to work. Roads saw traffic. Prayers were heard in temples. Schools had uniforms, and students! Life was outside the brick walls. Who knew world order was about to change?

The line it is drawn

The curse it is cast

The slow one now

Will later be fast

As the present now

Will later be past

The order is rapidly fadin’

And the first one now will later be last

For the times they are a-changin’

We may not be at the forefront. We may not be fighting. But the war won’t spare us. And one day, it will break in and poison us.

If not for the disease or death, the economy will see us rather. We all shall fight, be it win or lose together. For the times they are a- changin’ and each one of us will be facin’. The Past will hound. And the Future will likely be down. But the Present is where we hope!
